Slovakian pair Kate and Sergey met when Sergey was just a few days fresh out the army with ‘reporting for duty’ fast replaced with ‘reporting for desire’. They spent two weeks getting to know each other on social networks before making the decision to meet. Kate was immediately struck by “this handsome, athletic guy with great black hair”. However, they confess, they were “super shy” at first, not even daring a kiss at the time. Many dates, long walks and gifted flowers later, the arrival of Kate’s 18th birthday made it official and the pair first moved in together and then, a few months later, got married.

A few years have passed since then and the wanderlust-sharing pair now call the Czech Republic home, each running a business and exploring the world further whenever they get the chance.
