“We both played the lead in one of the biggest and most impactful productions of our lives thus far,” say Nicole Kitt and Jonte of their meeting on a Los Angeles film set. Possibly the only thing bigger and more impactful was the love story that would follow. “At first, we thought that our connection was due to the characters we played,” they say, “but our 

 on set was a unique and touching experience that led us to acknowledge that we had real chemistry. Before our scene we danced around each other in conversation and avoided physical contact. You could almost say we acted like teenagers with how shy we were, but it was love at first fuck.”

Describing their ever-evolving relationship, the pair who spend their time between LA and Jonte’s hometown of Berlin, say, “We see ourselves as opposites or, as we often say to each other, ‘the sun and the moon’. Jonte is cuddly, loving and bright, Nicole is cool and slow-moving. Separately, we are beautiful but incomplete; together we are the perfect balance of two polarized energies and because of that we shine.”

They reckon it’s this undeniable chemistry and attraction that made their first time together so… nerve-wracking! “Every so often we both like to reconnect with our emotions from that day by discussing the nervous chaos that ensued before the cameras started rolling,” they laugh. “We reminisce on how the world around us disappeared once we finally made physical contact. It was emotional, it was euphoric, and most importantly it was love. The entire experience was surreal.”
